Straight bevel gear transmission power can reach 370 kilowatts, and the peripheral speed is 5 meters/second. Helical bevel gear transmission runs smoothly and the bearing capacity of gears is high, but it is difficult to manufacture and has few applications. The curved bevel gear drive runs smoothly, delivering power up to 3,700 kilowatts and circumferential speeds up to 40 meters per second.
