Precision gears will cause the loss of lubricating oil during long-term operation, so we need to add them in time. Precision gears should pay attention to the following points when adding lubricant:
1. The tread contact stress of precision gears is very high. Some heavy-duty machinery such as cement mills, cranes, winches and rolling mill reducers, the contact tooth stress of precision gears can reach 400~1000MP. Therefore, for the degree of friction of the parts, focus on the application of lubricants, secondary parts, parts that do not work often, and apply a little. It is our main goal to reduce the effects of noise, vibration and precision gear teeth.
2. During the application process, it can be applied according to the lubricant extrusion tool. It cannot be operated directly by hand.
3. Lubrication is intermittent. The oil film needs to be re-formed every time it is engaged. Therefore, the lubricating oil must have high viscosity or high consistency and strong adhesion to ensure that a continuous oil film is kept on the surface of the precision gear.
